In this Tutorial We will learning to Configure Sh404 Configuration from starting to the end. This Tutorial will get your SEO URL’s like index.php?/Category/The-Title-of-the-article.html. This Tutorial is designed to be compatible with all Hosting companies (Mostly). We will not be using mod_rewrite as this is only for apache server.
1. The First step is to turn on SEO urls in Joomla Global Configuration Settings. So, Navigate to Site >> Global Configuration.
2. On the right side of the page… look for the SEO settings and make the setting look something like this:
Search Engine Friendly URLs = Yes
Use Apache mod_rewrite = No
Add Suffix to URLS = Yes
